A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
THE REQUEST MADE BY SAM JAZAYRI, PRESIDENT OF 36TH STREET
ACQUISITION, INC., FOR AN EXTENSION OF A SITE PLAN APPROVAL SP-
64-07, APPROVED BY RESOLUTION NO. 2008-002 AND SPECIAL
EXCEPTION REQUEST SE-73-07 APPROVAL BY RESOLUTION NO. 2008-001
ON JANUARY 8, 2008, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2400 COLLINS ROAD
(GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF COLLINS ROAD, WEST
OF THE FORT LAUDERDALE HOLLYWOOD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT),
IN THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on January 8, 2008, the City Commission approved a special exception request
(SE-73-07) to allow a distribution use by Resolution 2008-001, which expired on January 9, 2009,
for property located at 2400 Collins Road (generally located on the south side of Collins Road, west
of the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport), Dania Beach; and
WHEREAS, on January 8, 2008, the City Commission approved a request for a site plan
(SP-64-07) to allow for the construction of a 240,560 square foot warehouse/office complex, along
with the approval of a 27% pervious area wavier, by Resolution 2008-002, which expired on January
9, 2009, for the property; and
WHEREAS, Sam Jazayri, President of 360' Street Acquisition, Inc, is requesting an
extension of the special exception request, pervious area waiver and site plan approval until January
27, 2011;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the request to extend the expiration date for the approvals of the special
exception request SE-73-07 and site plan SP-64-07 until January 27, 2011, is approved.
