I. Call to Order: 5:05 PM
II. Public Comment: None
III. Old Business
Arts and Seafood Celebration: The schools will not participate. However, Collins
Elementary will be performing on stage.
Re‐districting: Committee expressed concerns regarding the re‐districting
proposal of Broward County Board of Education.
Olsen Middle School is proposed to lose 188 students, and Attucks 100 students.
IV. New Business
How can the committee provide an input to help Dania School’s from losing
additional students.
V. Member Comments
The Committee also discussed possible functions for the old Olsen school
building.
Members shared the annual Christmas lighting experience.
Members shared the events and schedule for Martin Luther King Day.
