I. ROLL CALL Board Members Staff Lilli Schipper Present Corinne Lajoie, AICP, LEED GA Present David Simonetta Present Patricia Chukerman Present Mimi Donly Present II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: October 17, 2018 Motion was made by Lilli Schipper to approve the October 17, 2018 minutes of the Green Advisory Board (GAB) as presented and was seconded by Mimi Donly. Motion passed 4-0. Lilli Schipper Yes David Simonetta. Yes Patricia Chukerman. Yes Mimi Donly Yes III. CITIZENS COMMENTS  None IV. OLD BUSINESS  None V. NEW BUSINESS  Aldi’s Ribbon Cutting is at 8:15AM on Friday. GAB bags are to be given away.  Robert Shapiro offered to replace the bags.  Group discussed options.  What does Straw Ordinance state? Restaurants are trying to work around the prohibition.  Patricia Chukerman knows a LEED Certified person who is willing to speak to the Group. She wants to plan an event around the speaker.  Have Katia Bordy, Public Information Officer for the City, post the event.  Invite the Commissioners.  Plan the event for the January meeting.  David Simonetta questioned if Board members have to be residents of Dania Beach.  He owns property and operates buildings from the City but is no longer a resident.  Patricia Chukerman discussed board badges.  $5 per badge Motion was made by Lilli Schipper to approve having GAB badges made and was seconded by David Simonetta. Motion passed 3-0. Lilli Schipper Yes David Simonetta Yes Patricia Chukerman Yes Mimi Donly Left at 5:30PM  Lilli Schipper discussed online marketing and giveaways but Patricia Chukerman asked Ms. Schipper to come back with more specific ideas.  Is goal to achieve awareness of the GAB? Lilli Schipper to work with Katia Bordy. GAB Minutes 2 December 19, 2018  #1 goal is to create awareness among citizens of the GAB. VI. DISCUSSION/ACTION  Discussed Board appointments and vacancies. VII.MEETING ADJOURNED Motion was made by David Simonetta to adjourn the meeting at 5:41PM and was seconded by Lilli Schipper.
