Green Advisory Board
Regular Meeting
Wednesday, March 20, 2019
5:00 PM
The meeting was called to order at 5:25PM.
1. ROLL CALL

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: February 20, 2019
Motion was made by David Simonetta to approve the February 20, 2019 minutes of the Green
Advisory Board (GAB) as presented and was seconded by Beth White. Motion passed 3-0.

3. CITIZENS COMMENTS
None
4. OLD BUSINESS
Paragraph assignment was only completed by two Board Members.
David Simonetta is requesting greater Board Member participation.
David Yaloz requested meeting time to be later. Staff will confirm if it is possible to change to
6:00PM.
David Simonetta is requesting each Board Member to provide a paragraph relating to Single Use
Plastic Facts.
The paragraph is to be emailed to Corinne by April 1st who will then share it with the Board for
review. Final edits and approval are to be made at the May Board Meeting.
5. NEW BUSINESS
Discussed 8th Annual Dania Pier Clean-Up on July 13th.
Discussed how to increase use of the reusable grocery bags.
6. DISCUSSION/ACTION
April meeting canceled.
The next meeting will be May 22, 2019.

As there was no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 5:59PM
