Regular Meeting
Wednesday, August 21, 2019

The meeting was called to order at 5:07PM.
1. ROLL CALL:

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: N/A
3. CITIZENS’ COMMENTS:
Von English and Jeff Dorian, Broward County Citizens’ Climate Lobby, gave a PowerPoint
presentation discussing Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act (h.r. 763).
They asked for a Resolution of Support.
4. NEW BUSINESS:
Pat Chukerman discussed creating a budget and the need for collateral to be discussed with the
City Commission.
Alexandra Hiley presented an article regarding Coral Reefs and also suggested coordinating an event
with a local scientist from Nova Southeastern University (NSU).
5. OLD BUSINESS: N/A
6. ADJOURNMENT:
As there was no further business to discuss, without objection the meeting was adjourned at 6:33PM.
