3. Approval of Minutes: Did not approve minutes since there was no quorum
4. Reports and Discussions:
5. B.S.O Reports: No BSO.
6. Old Business:
7. New Business:
‐ Visitor has issues with Westrac (Frank) – they do nothing according to him.
o Lightbulbs not being changed
o Boats are too big (boats over 50 feet are not allowed in Marina per contract) and causing issue with
maneuvering in Marina. There is currently a 64’ boat in Marina. Multiple boats over 53’.
o Insurance required (unregistered boats in Marina)
o Per contract ‐ no commercial activity allowed in Marina, but there are boats being used for business.
B Dock – Charter service
E/F Dock – Boat rentals – 2 pontoons
o Parking Issues – no parking spaces available for those that have paid for slips (always issues on
weekends). Nobody is ticketing cars without parking stickers. People using Marina specified parking
and going to Grill.
o Safety issue – wiring exposed on B Dock
o Shower stall in men’s room has been out of service over a month
o Trash not be emptied
‐ Visitor requested that his name be left off minutes and correspondence for the time being as he feels manager
of Marina will retaliate. Manager of Marina has the right to move boats to other slips and he doesn’t want this
to happen. He likes his slip location. He would just like the Marina to be managed according to the contract.
‐ These issues didn’t exist with previous dock master.
Michael Huck will look for a copy of the contract and send to all members of Marine Advisory Board.
Dean Grant will stop by Michael’s office and get a copy of contract as well to review.
Suggestion was made by Chris Barile for Guest to go to Commission Meeting and bring issues up to Commission. Guest
again voiced his concern that if he complains, there will be repercussions (such as having his dock slip moved, which
Westrac can do at their will). He would like the Marine Advisory Board to pass this information along for him.
