Approval of Minutes of the Planning and Zoning Board from the December 17, 2014
meeting.

1. VA-113-14: The applicant, Bruce A. Inman is requesting a variance to waive the
required building setback of five feet for an addition located at 3051 Cove Drive.
2. VA-98-14: The applicant, R.J. Marina Holdings, LLC., is requesting a variance
for signage for property located at 70 S. Bryan Road.
3. SE-54-14/VA-51-14/VA-52-14/SP-53-14: The applicant, Craven Thompson &
Associates, Inc., is requesting special exception, variances, and site plan approval
for the construction of a foot fast food restaurant 2091 Griffin Road.

Motion was made by Bill Harris to approve the November 19, 2014 minutes of the Planning &
Zoning Board sitting as Local Planning Agency and was seconded by Derrick Hankerson, Motion was
approved 5-0.
III. PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. RZ-112-14: The applicant, David Optekar, is requesting a zoning change for
property located at 850 West Dania Beach Boulevard.
Principle Planner, Corinne Lajoie stated the applicant submitted his written request to withdraw
his application and request a refund.
This item was withdrawn

2. VA-97-14: The applicant, Jacques Campeau on behalf of the property owner,
Campeau USA Inc. is requesting a variance to waive the required driveway setback
of two feet for a property located at 5771 SW 29 Terrace.
City Planner, Mariluz Maldonado made a presentation and recommends approval.
Motion was made by Derrick Hankerson to approve item #2, VA-097-14 and was seconded by
Bill Harris, motion was approved 5-0.
