amendments to the City’s Unified Land Development Code, known as OneCode.

Motion was made by Randy Wright to approve the July15, 2015 minutes of the Planning &
Zoning Board and was seconded by Derrick Hankerson. Motion was approved 5-0.

III. PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. RZ-024-14/LUF-025-14: The applicant, Ari Sklar, A.I.A, Sklarchitecture on
behalf of Casey 18 Development Group LLC, and Dania Coves 18, LLC, is
requesting rezoning and flex allocation for the property located at 5461 and 5471
SW 40th Avenue.
Principle Planner, Corinne Lajoie made a presentation and recommends approval.

Board Members discussed the item.
Motion was made by Bob Adams to approve RZ-024-14/LUF-025-14 and was seconded by
Charles Camacho. Motion was approved 4-1.

2. TX-70-15: The applicant, Dania Live 1748, LLC., is requesting several zoning
text amendments to the City’s Unified Land Development Code in order to
create Planned Mixed-Use Development zoning district and associated support
regulations.
Principle Planner, Corinne Lajoie made a presentation and recommends approval.
Dennis Mele, representing the applicant gave an explanation for his request and made a brief
presentation.
Motion was made by Bob Adams to approve item #2, TX-070-15 and was seconded by Derrick
Hankerson. Item was continued 5-0.

1. VC-45-15: Bonnie Miskel, Esq. at Dunay, Miskel and Backman, LLP. on behalf
of the property owner Archdiocese of Miami, Church of the Resurrection C/O
Suzanne Dockerty, Esq. is requesting to vacate NE 4 Court right-of-way, located
between NE 2 Street and Dania Cut Canal.
Bonnie Miskel, Applicant’s representative gave a brief summary about the proposed request.
