Board Member, Kenya Peterman was sworn in.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion was made by Bill Harris to approve the August 19, 2015 minutes of the Planning &
Zoning Board, and was seconded by Luis Rimoli. Motion was approved 5-0.

1. TX-70-15: The applicant, City of Dania Beach, is requesting several zoning text
amendments to the City’s Unified Land Development Code, known as OneCode.
Principle Planner, Corinne Lajoie recommends approval.

Motion was made by Randy Wright to approve amendments 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 to
the City’s Unified LDC, and was seconded by Timothy Pribisco. Motion was approved 5-0.

Kenya Peterman recused herself from voting on Text Amendment #2 of the City’s Unified LDC on
Bail Bonds of the staff report due to a conflict of interest.
Motion was made by Randy Wright to approve text amendment #2 to the City’s Unified LDC,
and was seconded by Luis Rimoli. Motion was approved 4-0.

1. TX-108-15: The applicant, Corporate Property Services, Inc. on behalf of the property owner Griffin
Road Three, LLC, is requesting an amendment to the Schedule of Permitted Uses for industrial zoning
districts, in the Land Development Code.
Planning and Zoning Manager, Corinne LaJoie, gave a review of the proposed text amendment and
recommends approval.
Kristina Bellanki, representing the applicant, made her presence known.
Motion was made by Randy Wright to approve item #1, TX-108-15, and was seconded by Timothy
Pribisco. Item was approved 5-0.

2. OT-111-15: The applicant, Clovermint Café & Market, on behalf of the property owner, Griffin
Investment Realty, LLC, is requesting a waiver for the distance separation requirements for the sale
of alcohol for a property located at 3433 Griffin Road.
City Planner, Mariluz Maldonado, presented the item and recommends approval.
Board members Timothy Pribisco and Charles Camacho commented on the item.
The applicant, Ann Nacknock, gave a presentation.
Motion was made by Timothy Pribisco to approve item #2 and was seconded by Randy Wright.
Item was approved 4-1.
3. TX-117-15: The applicant, City of Dania Beach, is requesting several zoning text amendments to
the City’s Unified Land Development Code, known as OneCode.
Planning and Zoning Manager, Corinne LaJoie, gave a review of the current status of the proposed
text amendment.
No motion was made on the item.
IV. BOARD ITEMS
Memorandum of Voting Conflict (Form 8B) for Board Member Kenya Peterman was filled out by
Board Member Kenya Peterman.
