Chair: Luis Rimoli accepted and approve.
Vice Chair: Tony Abrams accepted and approved
Secretary : Joan Gringer interim accepted and approved
January Terms
Tony Walsh sent in application
Armand needs to send his application January 17th
David Nuby needs to send his application by January 17th
Kisha will alert us to other applications
By Laws & Masterplan Updates
Armand refers to 10 year plan & 5 year plan

By Laws sub committee need to meet to present to review by next
CAC meeting 2/12

Masterplan update committee to be formed.
Linda need to revision to 10 year 2012
5 year revised twice in 2016
Need to revised of all drafts and revisions.
Setting up 5 year sub committee.
Kisha: Changes are not to be conflict with resolutions.
If resolutions are changed it would be have to change in Amendments

David Nuby absent to due to illness as per text to Emanuel
Rickelle spoke to City Finance Director
Suggest have an upfront budget fiscal year.
Decide on amount [$5000.00 ball park figure]
Request amount of budget
List the items for budget required
Make sure we use awarded monies within fiscal year
Donations specially target for a project of all art mediums
Sandy will notify to cashier for payments
Standard invoice suggest for all artists to submit for quicker payment
Subcommittee to do budgets for each project.
Linda suggest to set up account i.e. Art in the Hall. All mediums of the ARTS
Suggest a Budget Sub Committee for other projects approved
Sandy has artists booked for Art in the Hall and performers until May
Art in the Hall has performance Art
Armand would like to have other performance art with another budget
Suggestion by Luis to but another budget outside of Art in the Hall.
Compliments to all the performances and art in Art in the Hall Congrats to Sandy
Separate budgets will be decided for each project.
Donations to Art in the Hall goes to Art in the Hall
Monies need to be decided once approved for other projects
Available budget is starts fiscal year. October 1.
All monies go to the Cashier.
Rickelle: submit donations and use the monies for designated project. [i.e. food & wine]
Kisha asks the donations should be in kind donations
Finance Director will be informed and let CAC know how finance guide lines.
Linda concerned about invoices from Artist/Performers
Kathleen needs agreement from Artists/Performers
Template to be generated by Luis online form. Link will go to Kisha for payment
Payment is net 30 days. Name address phone# invoice #
Payment for $500+ in fiscal year. must be registered as Vendor
Art Gallery Update/Dania After Dark, [DAD]
Reception for the Artists February 9, 2018 5-7pm
Photographer will be March and April Mezzanine only. One piece
Kitte profit goes to artists only suggested donate whatever they want.
Wall hangings have been purchased.
Need indoor Lift from City.
Rickelle will request about Lift on behave of CAC
March system to be placed.

How to do promotions.
Need DAD promote Art in the Hall
D J to announce Art in the Hall discussion Kisha has announced Art in the Hall
Promoting on DB website, DB Facebook, DB Newsletter
Cross promotion
CAC did a joint effort flyer for both events
Need DAD to do the same.
Marketing: people will walk thru DAD to enter Art in the Hall
Need more foot traffic
Chris conveyed to Linda he will promote more
Kathleen Promote with Broward Art Council reach more fine artists.
Luis suggests more recognition with a signage i.e. truck with logo & signage
Separate signage for Art in the Hall at DAD
Insurance for artists signs release
Flyers to made need approved logos, verbiage etc.
Morrison Hotel asking for advertising in rooms
WMODA is promoting Art in the Hall
Signal Box Update

Need Ely foundation stated they don’t need release.
Maybe just an email stating.
Need Boise family release
Byrd family release
Marina Box results when Attucks box is finalized.
City Attorney will be notified of release from Luis
Bobbie and Tamara are release by their statement in a commission meeting.
CAC commending the CRA for their involvement and understanding of the
CAC mission.
Comments
Luis will be more involved and apologize to guests.
Sandy commented Emmanuel for his work in all the Arts.
Emmanuel announcing Sistrunk Exhibit opening January 19th Old Dillard Museum
Emmanuel curated the Sistrunk Exhibits January 24-27th
Armand upset with minutes corrections about attendance
