A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, DETERMINING
THAT THE CONTINUED USE OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY IS
NO LONGER FEASIBLE AND NO LONGER NEEDED FOR MUNICIPAL
PURPOSES; AND FURTHER, DECLARING SAID EQUIPMENT AS
SCRAP FOR DISPOSAL PURPOSES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the city commission has determined that the continued use of the personal
property described as follows is no longer feasible:
NORTHSIDE PARK
One (1)wood 3 swingislide platform unit
CHESTER BYRD PARK
One ('1) wood 3 swing/slide platform unit
MELI PARK
One (1) merry-go-round
Two (2) spring rockers 'l horse, 1 cat
One (1) parallel ladder
One (1) merry go swing
One (1) monkey bar
One (1) tether ball pole
One ('l) six seat swingerFROST PARK
One (1) 6 unit swing set
One (1) parallel bar
One (1) slide
One (1) wood 3 swing/slide/platform unit
and
WHEREAS, the above described playground equipment is obsolete and does not meet
current safety standards; and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that the metal components can be sold as scrap for the
approximate sum of $500.00.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CIry OF
DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the above described playground equipment is hereby declared scrap for
disposal purposes and the metal components thereof shall be salvaged and sold as scrap metal.
Section 2. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
