A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, APPROVING
PROPOSAL SUBMITTED AND JEFFERY GROSS/ASSOCIATES/
ARCHITECTS, P.A., RELATING TO CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW
CONFERENCE ROOM AT DANIA CITY HALL; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Proposal submitted by Jeffery Gross/Associates/Architects,
P.A., relating to construction of a new conference room at Dania City Hall, a copy of
which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A", be and the same is hereby approved.
Section 2. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and
the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
section 3. That this resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon
its passage and adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED on this 22 day of November , 1994.

Re: Proposed new conference room at Dania City Hall
Dear Mr. Allen:
It is a pleasure to present this proposal to you. At this time the City of
Dania is proposing to construct a new conference room, at the existing City
Hall Structure. The space consists of approximately 1,400 square feet and
the layout will be based on our previously completed space study.
My Firm would be pleased to provide the necessary services for your City.
The project would be performed in three phases which would be as follows:
Construction Documents-This phase of the work would cover the
preparation of the project manual necessary for the preparation of
bids by General Contractors and the Construction of the Pro.iect.
Bidding-This phase of the work would include submission of the
Construction Documents to General Contractors for project bids and
review of those bids with the Owner.
Construction Administration-This phase of the work would include
field visits to the Site and review of Construction.
Alt services would be provided in accordance with our standard General
Conditions.
Fee's for the services listed above would be as follows:
Construction Document phase services would be performed for a
lump sum amount of $6580.00.
Bidding or negotiation and construction phase services would be
based on an hourly rate.

An estimate of hours required for this project is attached.
Our Hourly rates for any Owner services would be Seventy Dollars per hourfor the Principal, Drafting and Design Support Staff personnel.
A retainer of S2O0O.OO would be required prior to the start of the work with
the balance due as work is completed, invoiced on a monthly basis.
