A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
EXTENDING THE PROPOSAL OF MADSEN/BARR
CORPORATION TO SUPPLY LABOR, EQUIPMENT AND
MATERIALS TO INSTALL 8-INCH, 1O-INCH AND 12-INCH U-
LINERS IN MANHOLE SECTIONS OF THE CITY'S SANITARY
SEWER SYSTEM AND APPROVING AN ADDITIONAL
EXPENDITURE OF AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $15O,OOO.OO;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,FLORIDA:
Section 1 That the proposal of Madsen/Barr Corporation, 1'l 17 N.W. 58th Street, Fort
Lauderdale, Florida, dated April 26, 1993, for the furnishing of all labor equipment and
materials required to install 8-inch, 1O-inch and 12-inch U-liners in manhole sections of the city
sanitary sewer system as listed in said proposal, be and the same is hereby extended and an
additional expenditure of an amount not to exceed $150,000.00 is hereby approved.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its
passage and adoption.

Section 1. That the proposal of Madsen/Barr Corporation, 1117
N.W. 58th Street, f'ort Lauderdale, Florida, dated April 26, Lgg3,
for the furnishing of all labor equipment and materials required
to install 8-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch U-liners in manhole
sections of the city sanitary sewer system as listed in said
proposal, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A,,, for
the total cost of 5173,166.00, be and the same is hereby approved.
The charges as set forth in said proposal are based upon a
competitive bid for the Seacoast Utility Authority, Bid No.
93-71-ww, as approved by said authority on February 24, L993.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its passage and adoptj.on.
