HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-1994-142RESOLUTTON NO. 742_94 A RESOLUTION OF THE CIry OF DANIA, FLORIDA, SETTINC MONTHLY CHARCES FOR SEWER SERVICES; PROVIDINC THAT ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIry COMMISSION OF THE CIry OF DANIA, FLORIDA: Section l. (.1 ) That for residential users a base charge of seven dollars and six cents ($7.06) monthly shall be applied to all single-family residences, each living unit in cooperative and condominium usages, multi-family structures, and each unit in mobile home parks for sewer service supplied to each of such units for said monthly period. ln addition, a charge of two dollars and five cents ($2.05) will be charged for each thousand (1 ,000) gallons of water used to a maximum of eighteen thousand (18,000) gallons by each of such units for said monthly period. (2) That for commercial, businesses and industrial users a monthly base charge per meter according to the size thereof for sewer service to a commercial, industrial, business, institutional or similar uni! building or complex, and each separate municipal or other governmental agency, building or special type unit shall be levied according to the following schedule: s/8"meter $ 7.06 17.66 1-1/2" 2', meter meter..... meter 3 5.31 56.50 112.99 1 )meter. RESOLUTION NO 142-94 4',meter ..$176.27 6',meter 352.54 ln addition, there will be a charge of two dollars and five cents ($2.05) for each thousand (1,000) gallons of water used by each of such units for said monthly period. The charges listed in (1) and (2) above shall remain in force as long as the service is connected to the water main, whether turned on or off. However, when the owner of property requests that a meter be removed from the premises, billing will be discontinued until such time as the owner requests that the meter be reinstalled and service continued. A charge of one hundred dollars ($100.00) will be assessed for the reinstallation. (3)lt tn utn water service for deli . Bills are due when rendered and are delinquent 20 days after the initial rendition of the bill. lf bills are not paid within the 20 day period, with 2: 00p.m. being the cut off time on the last day, a 10% penalty will be assessed. lf bills are not paid within 30 days after the initial rendition of the bill, water will be turned off until such time the bill is paid. A $25.00 charge will be added to the next bill for turning the water back on. Any unpaid charges will be added to the next month's bill. Section 2. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. 2 RI SOLUTTON NO. 142-94 Section 3.
