Existing docks should be grandfathered in. Clive will provide an illustration at the next meeting. A motion was made by the board to recommend an addition to the ordinance goveming waterways, which would address water rights at the end ofcanals. (10 in favor/l opposed). [t is in deplorable condition and is possibly a safety hazard. It is believed this is in litigation, but we need to find out who is responsible for the upkeep. We need to make a recommendation to the commission to address this. The property lines should be evaluated to see how much Sea Tech actually has access to for parking. Javier Canute will discuss this with Glenn and ask him to address safety issues, insurances, restrooms and parking with the City Manager. We feel that the Coast Guard, the Fire Dept. and Code Enforcement Marine Oflicers should do inspections. I
