DANIA BEACH CITY COMMISSION

THURSDAY, JANUARY 8,2009 - 7:00 P.M.

Mayor Jones called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m
2. Discuss ion and Selection
David Collier, ol the firm Colin Baenziger & Associates, noted the background check on Mr.
Tumer is still incomplete. He suggested the Commission make their selections and not hold a
discussion at this time.
The Commission rating resulted in the following 5 candidates:
1. Robert Baldwin
2. Russell Benford
3. John Drago
4. Ron Mclemore
5. Isaac Tumer
Altemates are: Marsha Segal-George and Sarah Hannah
Interim city Manager Donnelly advised that the Beach watch Restaurant has requested
permission to participate in the Chamber of Commerce Beach Blast on January 10,2009. They
will be selling alcohol and food in the area directly in fiont ofthe Beach Watch Restaurant.
Commissioner Flury motioned for Beach Watch to participate in the Beach Blast; seconded
by Vice-Mayor Castro. The motion carried on the following 5-0 Roll Call vote:
