City of Dania Beach Parks, Recreation & Community Affairs Advisory Board Meeting Tuesday, January 20, 2009 Chairman Ely called the meeting to order at 6:10 P.M.
Members present: Kurt Ely Chris Barile Chip Brockman Judy Jensen Jimmy Peterman
Members absent:
Beulah Lair Julie Brockman Sharon Nearn Lisa Drake Rosalind Curry Others present: Mark Felicetty, Assistant Director Parks and Recreation
Kurt Ely requested an excused absence for Sharon Nearn, Beulah Lair, Julie Brockman, Rosalind Curry, and Lisa Drake motion made by Chip Brockman, seconded by Judy Jensen. Motion carried unanimously. Kurt Ely requested a motion to approve December 16, 2008 minutes, motion made by Chip Brockman,
seconded by Chris Barile. Motion carried unanimously.
Department updates by Mark Felicetty:
Surveillance Systems will go in front of the commission for approval on January 27, 2009. Mark Felicetty will update the board on February meeting.
Date of next meeting:
Kurt Ely, date of next meeting February 17, 2009, 6:00 P.M. at Frost Park.
Kristen Jones and Kurt Ely coordinated a farewell meeting for the board; we will serve hour'douvres and
sodas. At the last meeting we will discuss our accomplishments and what the next board will have to do that
is important.
Chip Brockman, Kurt Ely did a great job being our chairperson.
