1. Call to Order/Roll Call
Mayor Davis called the meeting to order at 10:11 a.m.
Present: Mayor: Joyce L. Davis Vice-Mayor: Marco A. Salvino, Sr.
Commissioners: Lori Lewellen
Luis Rimoli A. J. Ryan IV (Absent) City Manager: Ana M. Garcia, ICMA-CM City Attorney: Eve Boutsis
2. Strategic Plan Session
City Manager Garcia thanked Lyle Sumek, the Commission and City team for being present
today. She explained the significance of what they are doing today has been the catalyst for an unprecedented amount of grants that the City has been able to seize. The City went from having a budget to an award-winning budget document and none of that would have occurred without having the strategic master plan of 2020 that they are now revisiting and amending for 2025.
Lyle Sumek, Lyle Sumek Associates, Inc., noted that this is a wrap up session and said since they were last together, he has pushed staff to identify who is responsible, what the issues are and what is going to be done. Mr. Sumek and the Commission began working with Section 10 on Policy Issues, Management and Progress, Major Projects and Opportunities for Leisure and
Cultural Experiences.
Meeting recessed for lunch at 11:47 a.m. and reconvened at 12:17 a.m., with all present as before.
Mr. Sumek and the Commission continued with the strategic planning session.
Mr. Sumek thanked staff and the Commission for their hard work and participation in today’s session. He said in his perspective the City has a solid plan, and the priorities are clear cut.

Meeting adjourned at 1:18 p.m.
