A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORZING THE AWARD OF INVITATION TO BID
(ITB) NO. 26.005 "CITYWIDE IRRIGATION SERVICES" TO SAM'S
ielusce,ps MAINTENANCE; AUTHoRZING THE CITY MANAGER To
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND ANY NECESSARY DOCUMENTS;
PROVIDING FOR IMPLEMENTATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Dania Beach requires citywide irrigation services to malntaln
municipal landscaped areas, including patks, rigbts-of-way, medians, and other public areas; and
WHEREAS, the City's irrigation systems are critical infrastructure requiring regular
maintenance, inspection, and repair to ensure efficient operation, prevent water [oss, and maintain
the aesthetic and functional quality ofpublic spaces; and
WHEREAS, the city issued Bid ITB No. 26-005, "City'\^/ide Irrigation Services," in
accordance with applicable procurement requirements; and
WHEREAS, bids were publicly solicited and opened on April 3,2026, resulting in one
(l) bid being received from Sam's Landscape Maintenance; and
WIIEREAS, Sam',s Landscape Maintenance submitted unit pricing including hourly
labor rates and a material mark-up, and was determined to be the lowest responsive and
responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, the City commission finds that awarding the contract to Sam's Landscape
Maintenance is in the best interest of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL!'ED BYTHE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section That the above "Whereas" clauses are ratified and confirmed, and they are
made a part ofand incorporated into this Resolution by this reference.
section 2. The city commission hereby approves the award of Bid ITB No. 26-005,
"Citywide Irrigation Services," to Sam's Landscape Maintenance.
section 3. That funding will be appropriated from the Landscape Maintenance
Account No. 00 I -39-04-539-46-50.
Section 4. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution
are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 5. That this Resolution shall be effective 10 days after passage
