Summary of Proposed Ordinance (including public purpose to be served)
The ordinance provides that a ny trailer, mobile living unit (including but not limited to a recreational
vehicle), truck over one ton in weight, or vessel parked improperly shall be subject to a greater fine
as identified in Section 2 -58, of the City’s Code of Ordinances, per 24 hour period, due to the greater
obstruction of the roadway due to size, or length of same.

(a) An estimate of direct compliance costs that businesses may reasonably incur;

(b) Any new charge or fee imposed by the proposed ordinance or for which businesses will be
financially responsible; and
For violating the Code, and parking large vehicles, vessels, trucks, RVs the citation is greater ($250.00)
than for a personal vehicle ($35.00)
(c) An estimate of the city’s regulatory costs, including estimated revenues from any new charges or
fees to cover such costs.
