HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($9,600,000.00) APPROVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION,
TO FUND THE REBUILD LIFT STATIONS NO. 4, NO. 6 AND NO. 11 PROJECT; PROVIDING

Summary of Proposed Ordinance (including public purpose to be served)
The purpose of the proposed ordinance is to comply with Section 2, “Certain Expenditures” of Article
3, “Powers of the City”, of the City Code of Ordinances, the City Commission must, by ordinance
approve any expenditures of City funds that exceed One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) after two (2)
advertised public hearings of the ordinance. Prior to awarding ITB 2023-025 “Historic Restoration of
the Nyberg-Swanson House”, passage of the proposed ordinance is necessary since ITB 2023-025
exceeds $1 million.
Es mate of Direct Economic Impact on Private For‐Profit Businesses
(a) An esƟmate of direct compliance costs that businesses may reasonably incur;
There is no direct compliance cost for businesses.
(b) Any new charge or fee imposed by the proposed ordinance or for which businesses will be
financially responsible; and
The proposed ordinance imposes no fees or changes in fees for which businesses will be financially
responsible.
(c) An esƟmate of the city’s regulatory costs, including esƟmated revenues from any new charges or
fees to cover such costs.
