May 26,2O26 Mayor and Members of the Dania Beach City Commission Dania Beach, FL Dear Mayor and Commissioners, Thank you for your commitment to Dania Beach and for the opportunity to consider a meaningful use for the recently saved Frost Mediterranean Revival house. I write to encourage the Commission to support the creation of a Decorator Show House for the Holidays as a siSnature project that would celebrate the city's history while creating new public interest in this important property. By inviting local designers to reimagine individual rooms while showcasing current design along with a seasonal display celebrating the holidays will unite community participation in a highly visible way. Broward Trust for Historic Preservation is committed to protecting the places and stories that shape our county, and we would welcome the opportunity to partner with the Dania Beach Historical Society in advancing a project that blends preservation, education, and public engagement. Our work across Broward County has shown that preservation initiatives can strengthen community identity, inspire civic participation, and generate lasting public value when historic places are activated with purpose. A holiday show house with the MC Frost property as the centerpiece would honor Dania Beach's heritage, build civic pride, and demonstrate how preservation can contribute to cultural and economic vitality. I hope the Commission willview this as an opportunity to create something memorable for residents and visitors alike, and I would welcome the chance to discuss how we might help bring this vision to life. Sincerely, Michaela M. Conca President, BTHP
