HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-2026-079 AMC RFP CCTV Network Cabling AwardRESOLUTION NO. 2026-079 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO SELECT AMC SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (“RFP”) NO. 26-007, ENTITLED “CCTV PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, AND INSTALLATION SERVICES” IN ORDER TO NEGOTIATE AN AGREEMENT TO BE APPROVED ADMINISTRATIVELY AS THE PROPSED COST IS UNDER $50,000.00, PER YEAR ; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City issued Request for Proposals (“RFP”) No. 26-007 entitled “CCTV Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and Installation Services”; and WHEREAS, seven (7) qualified proposals were received and evaluated by a selection committee in accordance with the evaluation criteria established in the RFP; and WHEREAS, the Selection Committee evaluated and scored the proposals based upon Firm Qualifications, Approach, Price Proposal, and References; and WHEREAS, following the evaluation process, AMC Surveillance Cameras received the highest overall score and was determined to provide the best overall value to the City; and WHEREAS, the Information Technology Division recommends that the City Commission award RFP No. 26-007 to AMC Surveillance Cameras and authorize the proper City officials to negotiate terms for an agreement for administrative review and approval as services are not anticipated to exceed $50,000.00 per year. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the foregoing “Whereas” clauses are ratified and confirmed to be true and correct, and they are made a part of and are incorporated into this Resolution by this reference. Section 2. That the City Commission awards RFP No. 26-007 to AMC Surveillance Cameras and authorizes the proper City officials to negotiate an agreement for CCTV Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and Installation Services and to authorize administrative review and approval of the agreement as services are not anticipated to exceed $50,000.00, per year. Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution shall be repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 4. That this Resolution shall be effective 10 days after passage. 2 RESOLUTION #2026-______ PASSED AND ADOPTED on June 9, 2026. Motion by Commissioner Lewellen second by Commissioner Rimoli.
