SUBJECT: LETTER OF SUPPORT FOR LOVE OUR NATTON PROJECT FUNDTNG ASSTSTANCE

As the President of our Friends of the Dania Beach Paul DeMaio Library, we have worked with Ovrille Dwyer, Founder of Love
our Nation, for all the years of this Non-Profit's existence. she has been an asset to this Dania Beach community with her group
whose main focus is to improve the lives of children and young adults living in the area.
ovrille and Love our Nation continuously provide after school programming to assist with literacy needs, for which there is a
dire need. Love our Nation provides nutritional snacks and after school programs at the patch community Garden, and some
other venues, as may be available during the year. The Patch Garden is a wonderful and convenient location; however, during
inclement weather, programs may not be held as it is open space with only roof cover.
Love our Nation needs to have a permanent location where a proper facility can be built for this Non-profit to continue to
provide their services and expand its programs to more children in the local community.
We are asking the City Commission/CRA to consider the possible donation of a City Owned property that would be suitable for
the construction of a facility.
Love our Nation can concentrate on fund raising, grants, and other donations to make this facility a reality.
Friends is very supportive of this endeavor and would assist Love our Nation with some materials for its literacy programs, as
possible.
