Comments by Dania Beach citizens or interested parties that are not part of the regular printed agenda may be
made during each Commission meeting during the period set aside for “Citizen Comments.” A thirty (30) minute
“Citizen Comments” period shall be designated on the agenda for citizens and interested persons to speak on
matters not scheduled on that day’s agenda. Each speaker shall be lim ited to 3 minutes for his or her comments.
Persons desiring to speak during the citizen comment period shall infor m the City Clerk immediately prior to the
beginning of the meeting of their intention to speak. If more than 10 speakers express a desire to speak, the
Commission shall determine on a meeting by m eeting basis whether to (a) extend the time allotted for citizen
comments to accommodate all speakers, or (b) whether to limit the number of speakers or amount of time per
speaker. A speaker’s time shall not be transferable to another speaker.

We are a group of residents of the Danian's association at the following address
600,604,606,608 NE 2nd st in Dania Beach 33004. We need your help with a
major flood pr oblem affecting our community (5 buildings plus the surrounding
area). F YI, we never had floods of such magnitude in the past until the
commencement of the construction in 2022 of the Atlantica Apartment complex
next door to us (621 NE 2nd street, Dania Beach).
Ever since this project started, we have had sever al floods caused by the
drainage of Atlantica Apartments' water into our property.
Since 1968 when our buildings were built, we never had such massive floods and
never filed flood insurance claims. Floods have caused significant damage to the
condo units on the 1st floor (all of them were flooded) , as well as vehicles in the
parking lot. We bring a petition signed by the residents and video and photo
evidence of the floods.
Kindly please look into this matter and ask the developer to take car e of this
problem before issuing the Certificate of Completion.
