“ADMINISTRATION” BY CREATING A NEW SECTION ENTITLED
“ELECTRONIC PAYMENT PROCESSING SURCHARGES” TO AUTHORIZE
THE CITY TO RECOVER ELECTRONIC PAYMENT PROCESSING COSTS AS
AUTHORIZED BY SECTION 215.322(5), FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING
FOR CODIFICATION, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
c. Section 553.73, Florida Statutes, relating to the Florida Building Code; or
d. Section 633.202, Florida Statutes, relating to the Florida Fire Prevention Code.

Authorizing the City to process electronic payment surcharges consistent with F.S. 215322(5)
Estimate of Direct Economic Impact on Private For Profit Businesses
Surcharge for electronic payments being authorized consistent with state law. If a credit card is used
or other transaction, the City is authorized under state law to recoup those expenditures.
