NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the above "WHEREAS" clauses are true and correct, and they are
made a part of and are incorporated into this Resolution by this reference.
Section 2. That the City Commission decides who and when the City can use the Logo,
which currently includes entry-way signs, labelling on banners, uniforms, and events. All other uses
must be approved by the City Commission. The City seeks to clarify that any event that the City

2 RESOLUTION #2026-106
Any use of discretionary funds, any grant funds, or any promotions, sponsorship or
partnership with the City shall provide authorization for that entity to use the City’s logo, on a case-
by-case basis. As specific events become annual activities the City participates in, the event will be
considered one of the City’s events and will not require annual approval of the use of the City’s Logo.
Additionally, should the City Administration authorize media related articles to publish, the article
may contain the City’s logo (i.e. Greater Florida or Business View articles). All logo use by City
authorized third-parties, whether for promotion, sponsorship or partnership, must first be shared with
the City’s Marketing and Communications Division for review of the design and content of the flier
or other presentation materials to ensure the aesthetics and substance meet the City’s standards.
Section 3. That the City retroactively confirms that its logo could be used by grant
recipients, persons sponsored or provided discretionary funds or engaged in partnership with the City
during the fiscal year 2025-2026.
Section 4 . That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution
are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 5. That this Resolution shall be effective 10 days after passage.
