A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF REVENUES
AND EXPENDITURES WITHIN THE PUBLIC ART FUND FOR FISCAL
YEAR 2026‑27; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on December 10, 2019, the City adopted its Public Art Program; and
WHEREAS, on September 8, 2026, the Public Art Advisory Board (PAAB) recommended
a budget plan for fiscal year 2026-27; and
WHEREAS, the City’s Community Development Department has accepted the budget
plan and recommends that the City Commission adopt a Public Art Fund Budget for fiscal year
2026-27.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the above “Whereas” clauses are true and correct and are made a part
of and incorporated into this Resolution by this reference.
Section 2. That the City Commission adopts the Public Art Fund Budget for fiscal year
2026-27, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit “A” and is made a part of and incorporated into
this Resolution by this reference.
Section 3. That the City Manager is authorized to make adjustments within this
adopted budget during the fiscal year.
Section 4. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution
are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 5. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on September 24, 2026.
