HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-2021-108 Adopting the Strategic PlanRESOLUTION NO.2021-108 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE STRATEGIC PLAN PREPARED IN CONJUNCTION WITH LYLE SUMEK ASSOCIATES, INC.; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER, PROVIDINGFOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Dania Beach and Lyle Sumek Associates, Inc. entered into an agreement on February 19, 2020 pursuant to Resolution No. 2020-022 to provide the City with professional services related to developing the first ever strategic plan; and WHEREAS, the Plan has been thoroughly vetted with the Mayor and City Commission after numerous strategic planning meetings and includes the priorities of the elected officials and the City Administration; and WHEREAS, the City Administration recommends acceptance of the Strategic Plan which includes Vision, Goals, Mission, Policy Agenda, Management Agenda and Top High Priorities, which Plan is attached as Exhibit "A" and is incorporated into this Resolution by this reference; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the above "Whereas" clauses are ratified and confirmed as being true and correct, and they are made a part of and incorporated into this Resolution by this reference. Section 2 That the City Commission adopts the Strategic Plan which is incorporated by reference into this Resolution as Exhibit "A". Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED on July 13, 2021.
