HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-2006-187 DB Outside Storage Site Plan Modification to RESOLUTION NO. 2006-187 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE REQUEST FOR MODIFICATIONS TO THE SITE PLAN, APPROVED BY RESOLUTION 2004-195 ON NOVEMBER 23,2004, SUBMITTED BY MICHAEL MOGERMAN, ON BEHALF OF STEPHEN ST.CLAIR,PRESIDENT OF DANIA BEACH OUTSIDE STORAGE, INC., FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 375 NW 9TH AVENUE, DANIA BEACH; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Section 8.4 of Article 1 of Chapter 8 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dania Beach, Florida, states that a site plan is required as a condition to the issuance of a building permit; and WHEREAS,Michael Mogerman, on behalf of Stephen St. Clair,President of Dania Beach Outside Storage, Inc., has applied for modifications to the site plan approved by Resolution 2004- 195,relating to the proposed construction of an outdoor storage area,for property generally located on the west side of NW 91h Avenue, between NW 3`d Place and NW 3`d Terrace (375 NW 9`h Avenue), in the City of Dania Beach; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the proposed modifications to the site plan(SP-17-04),for property located at 375 NW 91h Avenue,Dania Beach are approved,subject to the conditions previously approved by the City Commission. Section 2. That based upon the criteria set forth in Section 8-4(p)of Article 1 of Chapter 8, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dania Beach, all site plan approvals shall automatically expire and become null and void unless building permits are obtained on or before 12 months from the date of this Resolution. 0 Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 4. The proposed 8 foot wall is identified on the approve site plan along the south property line. The applicant is requesting to change the color of the wall from the approved white with beige trim to green or grey. The applicant has provided color renderings of the proposed wall colors. Re; Dania Beach Outside Storage 375 NW 9 h ave Dania Beach Fl. We are asking the council to please review the color selections brought forth. The intent of the wall is to block any view into the storage facility. The intense landscaping was then designed to help screen the wall.The permited color selection calls for the wall to be white with beige bands. We feel that the white will be not only highly visible but very hard to keep clean of dirt and mildew.
