Re. MPO Reapportionment
k As you know, the MPO has encountered some problems with reapportionment.
' However, work has progressed and I am happy to report FDOT agrees that the
Broward County MPO has met the statutory requirements to reapportion.
While your city signed a proposed "Second Amendment" to the Interlocal
" Agreement, FDOT now concurs that all that is actually necessary to attend to
"updating" the Interlocal Agreement is an addendum adding the signatures of the
new MPO representatives and alternates (Coconut Creek, Cooper City, Dania
f , Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lazy Lake, Lighthouse Point,
Pembroke Park, Sea Ranch Lakes, Weston, and Wilton Manors).
We have attached the addendum for your city's review and signature. Appointees
T , x from the cities listed above may participate in the February 12, 2004 meeting of
the MPO as shown below, assuming cities sign and return the addendum to
.00 p.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2004.
MPO staff prior to 5
