A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA, EXTENDING THE EXPIRATION TIME OF THE TERM
OF CERTAIN MEMBERS ON THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD TO NO LATER
THAN JULY 1, 2004, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; PROVIDING
FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that there is a need to extend the
expiration time of the terms of certain members on the Civil Service Board;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the expiration time of the terms of the following members of the
Civil Service Board is extended until no later than July 1, 2004 or until new Civil Service
Rules are adopted, providing for revisions to the membership of the Board, in which case
such extended appointments shall expire when new Board members are appointed under
such new rules, whichever occurs first(i.e., the terms shall expire no later than July 1, 2004
or upon the effective date of the new Board appointments).
