CITY COMMISSION
(ATTORNEY-CLIENT SESSION)
SEPTEMBER 17, 2003
4:00 P.M.
1. Call to order
Mayor Anton called the Attorney Council session to order at 4:06 p.m.
2. Roll Call:
Present:
Mayor: Bob Anton
Vice-Mayor: C.K. McElyea
Commissioners: Robert Chunn
Pat Flury
City Attorney: Tom Ansbro
City Manager: Ivan Pato
City Clerk: Charlene Johnson
Absent:
Commissioner: Bob Mikes
Mayor Anton confirmed that a motion was not necessary to excuse Commissioner Mikes
because this was not a regular Commission meeting.
Mayor Anton stated that the meeting would move to the Commission Conference Room in
accordance with section 286.001 Florida Statutes in the case known as the City of Dania Beach
Florida, a municipal Corporation et.al, vs. Reuter Recycling of Florida Corporation Inc., a Florida
Corporation. He stated that the session was estimated to last no more than one-half hour and
the following people would be in attendance at that meeting: Mayor Bob Anton, Vice-Mayor C.K.
McElyea, Commissioners Robert Chunn and Pat Flury, City Attorney Tom Ansbro, City Attorney
Jamie A. Cole, City Manager Ivan Pato, and City Clerk Charlene Johnson.
Mayor Anton explained that the proceedings would be recorded by a certified court reporter and
at the conclusion of all litigation, a transcript would be made public record.
