HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-2003-018 Classification Study RESOLUTION NO. 2003-018 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, 'FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE POSITION CLASSIFICATION PLAN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Civil Service Rules of Dania Beach require adoption of a current position classification plan, and; WHEREAS, the City Commission authorized outside consultants (Human Resource Management Partners, Inc.) to develop current job descriptions and classifications, and; WHEREAS all employees of the City were given the opportunity to review individual job descriptions and provide input into this process with the approval of their Department Head; and WHEREAS the Civil Service Board approved such classification plan on January 22 , 2003. • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the Dania Beach City Commission gives final approval to the position classification plan as presented. Section 2. That this resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 28" DAY OF JANUARY, 2003. OBE T H.
