CALL TO ORDER REGULAR MEETING

II. ELECTION OF NINTH MEMBER
In compliance with Section 18-46(d) of the City of Dania Beach Code of
Ordinances, nominations were accepted for the ninth member of the Board.
MOTION by Wardell Lee to nominate Carolyn Jones as ninth member of the
Board.
SECOND: Vince Marlin
PASSED UNANIMIOUSLY
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION by Beulah Lair to accept minutes from the April 16, 2007 meeting as
submitted.

V. OLD BUSINESS
5.1 Divorce Kit
Discussion took place between Attorney Harrison and the Board regarding a
Divorce Kit provided by the Boards Attorney when receiving requests
for information in conjunction with divorce proceedings and to provide the
retirement system's participant's spouse a copy to give to their attorney.
VI. NEW BUSINESS
6.1 Bogdahn Consulting LLC
Mike Welker from Bogdahn Consulting LLC joined the meeting by phone
to review the Retirement System's overall 2nd Quarter Performance
and to answer questions and comments. The 2"d Quarter Performance
Reports from Bogdahn Consulting, LLC, Voyageur Asset Management,
ICC Capital and Capital Management Associates are included here for
reference.
6.2 Travel Mileage for Trustee Travel
The City uses the IRS rate for mileage which is currently 48.5 cents/mile.
MOTION by Commissioner John Bertino to use the IRS rate of 48.5 per mile
from the IRS tables in response to the increase in gas prices for Trustee travel.
The Systems Travel Policy was given to Attorney Harrison to be updated.

VII. CORRESPONDENCE
7.1 Patricia Shoemaker Letter/Dual OfFceholdiny
Discussion took place with Attorney Harrison and the Board regarding
a letter from Patricia Shoemaker's office regarding a City Commissioner
being on this Board while serving as a City Commissioner, stating that the
City's Charter or an ordinance must state that such service is an ex officio
duty of the commissioner. Attorney Harrison and Commissioner Bertino were
going to contact Attorney Tom Ansbro, the City's attorney regarding
this matter.
