Commissioners: Jean Cook

DISCUSSION OF AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN:
City Manager Marant informed the Commission that Commissioners Cook and
Hirsch contacted him to explain that they would not be able to attend
this meeting, but that they both reviewed the Affirmative Action Plan
and are in favor of it.
Mr. Henry Graham from BETA and Mr. Dick Cuciak from Broward Human Relations
Board were present to discuss with the City Manager and Commission the
Affirmative Action Plan as submitted by Garnell Faulk Administrative Aide.
After the Commission reviewed the Plan and requested their changes, it
was decided that the City Manager would make the necessary changes for
the Commission to review and take action on at the February 27th Regular
Commission Meeting. City Manager Marant was also instructed to prepare
a cost analysis on what this plan would cost the City.
