City Auditor, Joseph Spina was present to review with the Commission
' 1977-78 Audit Report. He informed the Commission that he felt the
r?
City of Dania to be in a good financial standing due to the deficit being ' 9
reduced approximately to half.
There was a question and answer period concerning the City cutting costs
'.' and improving on the efficiency within departments. Mr. Spina also
explained the new Uniform Accounting system that must be implemented into
the City by the fall of 1979.
City Manager Marant stated that since the Commission had voted to retain
Mr. Spina 's firm on a year around basis, that he was confident that many
things will be accomplished during this fiscal year to establish an even
better accounting procedure.
This meeting adjourned.
