Lassiter, Sr. City Attorney Adler reviewed with the Commission the proposed ordinance concerning the subject of leases that is on the agenda for second and final reading June 13th. After further discussion, the Commission re- quested that City Attorney Adler contact Saturday Corporation concern- ing the $12,000 that was to be presented to the City while a nine month feasibility study was to be performed .on the Ocean Protein Building. The Commission then decided to delete this ordinance from the agenda until they have reviewed the ordinance further for changes. City Attorney Adler then reviewed with the Commission the changes that they requested be made in the Ordinance designating the C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4 and I-G zoning classifications. The Commission then approved of the ordinance. City Attorney Adler explained that the Parade Ordinance that is on the agenda for second and final reading is a model parade ordinance used by several cities and he feels there is no need to change it, except to possibly add a prevision concerning insurance. Mr. Adler then recommend- ed that this ordinance be passed on second and final reading, and that he would inquire about adding this prevision by amending the ordinance at a later date. Mayor Bertino then informed the Commission that he had spoke with County Commissioner Ann Kolb who informed him that she was going to Washington D.C. He suggested that he would like a copy of the resolution that approved the Federal Government purchasing West Lake and the Wetlands area and turning it into an Urban Park to send with Mrs. Kolb.
