Lassiter, Sr. City Attorney: Frank Adler Absent:: Commissioner: Robert Donly City Clerk: Wanda Mullikin 1. Attorney Shahood, representing Mr. Korman was present to submit to the Commission a presentation of the lease proposal on the Ocean Protein Building. Mayor Bertino stated his concern On the length of time it has taken Mr. Korman to receive financing for this project. He also stated that the City of Dania has had other offers from companies who have substantial funds at this time to develop this building. Mr. Korman stepped forward to express to the Commission, the interest he has taken in this project and that he feels this project would be of great benefit to the City of Dania. Commissioner Hirsch suggested having another workshop meeting with Mr. Korman to have more time to look over the preliminaries of the lease proposal. A motion was made by Commissioner Hirsch, seconded by Commissioner Cook to set a workshop meeting for Eriday, January 20th at 3:00 P.M. with a full body Commission at which time the Commissioners will have their own ideas and thoughts in reference to this lease, so Mr. Korman can either secure a lease or not secure a lease. The motion was carried unanimously. Commissioner Hirsch restated his motion, seconded by Commissioner Cook to change the meeting to a Special Meeting on January 20th at 3:00 P.M. to discuss the Cities leasing of the Ocean Protein Building and possible action. The Motion was carried unanimously. A motion was made by Commissioner Hirsch, seconded by Commissioner Cook to ajourn this meeting. The motion was carried unanimously.
