DANIA CITY COMMISSION
FEBRUARY 12, 1975

City Attorney: Jack Milbery
Absent: Commissioner: John Kay
2. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the beach use charges in light of
questions posed to -the City by Attorney Clarke Walden. Mr. Walden presented
his views as they related primarily to the pier operator. After much
discussion and evaluation of the system for charges, it was suggested that
the City Manager work out a method with Don Moulton that would permit users
of the fishing pier to have free parking rights. The City Manager indicated
that possibly stamped tickets which are validated by the Pier operator for
those people fishing from the Pier could be used as a receipt for a refund.
This was acceptable to the Commission.
Nothing further to come before the Commission, a motion was made by
Vice Mayor Bertino, seconded by Commissioner Donly to adjourn the meeting.
The vote was unanimous.
