Kay Vice Mayor: Robert Duncanson Commissioners: Frank Adler William Jackson City Manager: Woodward M.-Hampton City Clerk: Wanda Mullikin City Attorney: Clarke Walden Building Inspector: Hubert Walker Absent: Acting Police Chief: Fred Willis (excused) Commissioner: John Kay 2. Representative Tom McPherson appeared before the Commission to discuss a cooperative effort among the various State agencies In the County and the cities involved which would assure the cleanup of the Dania Cut-Off Canal and it's continued maintenance.The Commission unanimously agreed •- that the City of Dania would do it's share to cooperate. 3. The City Attorney read the ordinance for the annexation of the area ® that lies generally north of West Dania Beach Boulevard extended, west of Bryan Road, East of 1-95 and south of Griffin Road, generally referred to as the King Olds Project. On a motion by Commissioner Adler, seconded by Commissioner Jackson, the Commission approved unanimously the ordinance on all three readings. ® 4. The City Attorney read the ordinance for the zoning of the above annexed land: 1 ) from A-I to B-3 certain lands in 33-50-42, and 2) from A-I to M-1 Lots 1 8 2 in Tigertail Grove Resubdivision and from RV-1 to M-1 Lots 3, 4 8 7 Tigertail Grove Resubdivision and 3) from A-I to B-3 certain lands in 33-50-42. On a motion by Commissioner Adler, seconded by Commissioner Jackson, the Commission approved unanimously this zoning ® ordinance on second and third reading. 5. On a motion by Commissioner Duncanson, seconded by Commissioner Adler, the Commission accepted the house trailer to be used at Westside Park for community staff activities. The motion passed unanimously. 6. The City Manager presented the request of Mr. Louis Marrone for permission to complete his project according to the plans on file with the City. After much discussion, Commissioner Jackson made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Adler, to approve the request, but made it on condition that no Certificate of Occupancy shall be granted until the sewer problems have been resolved with the Pollution Board. The motion passed on three ayes, Commissioner Duncanson voted no. 7. Commissioner Jackson asked that the question of a drainage district be placed on the agenda for September 17th for discussion. 8.
