K 7, the Acting City Manager opened and tabulated the bids on sewer construction,

S.E. 71h Strcea. The Commission turned the bids over to the City Manager
for his tabulation and recommendation.

5. On .i motion by Commissioner Duncanson, seconded by Commissioner Kay, the
Commission approved unanimously the contract between the City and the
developers providing funding for construction of a sewage disposal facility,
4 and allocation of operating costs for said facility.
1he City Attorney adviser) immediate implementation of this agreement as
legally proper and stated that a resolution of adoption would be prepared
and presented for the next meeting on August 6th by his office.
4. On a motion by Commissioner Jackson, seconded by Commissioner Duncanson,
the Commission approved unanimously the resolution adopting the revised
budgeI for fiscal year 1972-73.
5. On a motion by Commissioner Adler, seconded by Commissioner Duncanson,
the Commission approved unanimously the resolution establishing a Department
of City Government to be known as Dania Civil Defense Department, to co-operate
with Federal and State agencies in the implementation of the Civil Defense Act.
G. The Acting City Manager presented the recommendation of the City Manager
to award the bid on the Building Inspector's vehicle, to Munroe Zeder in
the amount of $3,522.50.
On a motion by Commissioner Kay, seconded by Commissioner Duncanson, the
Commission approved unanimously to solicit bids for a new 25 HP riding
mower for Public Works Department.
d. On a motion by Commissioner Kay, seconded by Commissioner Duncanson, the
Commission rejected the extension of the present contract covering labor
,,nd materials for services as needed by the City from H & H Crane, and
`+ instructed the Acting City Manager to procure competitive prices if possible
ind present at the meeting of August 6th. The motion was unanimous.

urplus vehicles of the City. Mr. Huberyc bid $160.00 on a 1961 Ford
