1. Invocation by Mayor Ray.

® 4. Commissioner Jackson made a motion to approve the minutes of the
meeting of November 2nd, the regular meeting of November 6th, the
special meeting of November 8th and the special meeting of November
14th. Mayor Ray seconded. There were two ayes. The other three
new Commissioners abstained from voting since these were minutes
from the last Commission.

5. Reading of the Planning and Zoning Board minutes from the meeting
of November 14th.
#3. Commissioner Adler made a motion to accept the recommendation
of the Board to grant the variance to permit the construction of a
0 pool with a 10? setback from the water edge of the canal at the rear
of their lot. Commissioner Jackson seconded. There were five ayes.
#5. Commissioner Jackson made a motion to accept the recommendation
of the Board to grant the variance to permit the construction of a
pool with a 15' setback instead of the 251 required by City ordinances.
0 Commissioner Adler seconded. There were five ayes.
#6. Commissioner Adler made a motion to pass on first reading the
preliminary plat of a proposed new subdivision lying south of N.W.
loth Street, west of N. W. 12th (llth) Avenue and east of N. W. 13th
Avenue, as recommended by the Board. Commissioner Jackson seconded.
There were five ayes.
6. A Representative from the Hollywood Junior Chamber of Commerce
appeared before the Commission to introduce them to their project
to conserve water, called the Saveit watersaver. This involves
the use of a gadget in the tank of a bathroom commode. It is
0 supposed to save two and one half gallons of water per flushing.
Commissioner Duncanson made a motion to draw up a proclamation
proclaiming December preservation of fresh water month. Commissioner
Adler seconded. There were five ayes.
7. Commissioner Ray made a motion to table the condemnation of a small
0 CBS structure and an older frame building at 2351 N. Federal Highway
until a later date. Commissioner Adler seconded. There were five ayes.

8. Mr. Hampton asked the Commissioners to give him their recommendations
0 on the Board members to be considered for reappointment at the
December 4th meeting.
