Clay City Attorney: Clarke Walden Police Chief: Gustave Brugger Building Inspector: Hubert Walker Late: Commissioner Boisy Waiters 4. Commissioner Kay made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting of June 19, 1972. Commissioner Salvino seconded. There were four ayes. ® 5. Commissioner Salvino made a motion to pass on second and third readings the ordinance to rezone from R-1 to R-2 Lots 1 through 8 Block 2 Victoria Villas. Commissioner Kay seconded. There were four ayes. The City Manager read a letter from Mr. Eby, Mr. McCombs and Mr. Scalzo which advised the Commission that on the above named property the owners intend to construct single family homes and duplexes which will conform to the two duplexes now finished and there will not be any duplex of a box or rectangular shape building. 6. Commissioner Salvino made a motion that the following properties be placed on the assessment roll: d Lot 4 Block 22 Town of Dania 50' X 6.10 = 305.00 Mary K. Dorothy & Arthur Redmond 7. Third reading of Sage Corporation's proposed shopping center. Since none of the principals were present, the Commission asked that they not be put on the agenda again until we are advised definitely that they will be present. 8. Commissioner Kay made a motion to pass on third reading the ordinance to approve the Plat for Florian Isles 4th Section. Commissioner Salvino seconded. There were four ayes. 9. Commissioner Waiters made a motion to adopt the resolution recog- nizing the firm of Stone and Youngberg as the City's Financial , ® Consultants and appoint Mr. Watson as the legal counsel on the sewer bond issue. The Commission tabled Mr. Palladino's request to construct a mechanical garage due to the fact that he has not been in touch with the City Attorney as he was previously instructed to do at the City Commission meeting of June 5th. 15. Commissioner Salvino made a motion to set the Primary Election for Wednesday, October 11, 1972, the General Election for Tuesday November 7, 1972, the cloiing of the registration books to be at 5:00 P. M. Tuesday, October 3, 1972 and the last day to qualify to be at 5:00 P. M. Monday, September 25, 1972. Commissioner Kay seconded. There were five ayes. 16. The City Manager confirmed for the minutes the density for the R-3 and R-Apartment at 27 units per acre. The Meeting ajourned. 4�j gliam E. ,p4 E. R. Commissioner Kay made a motion to deny the Representative of Griffin Industrial Park, William McPharlinTs appeal from the decision of the Planning and Zoning Board in reference to the platting of his property. Commissioner Waiters seconded. There were five ayes. 11. Commissioner Kay made a motion to adopt the resolution to condemn the building located at 21 N. W. 4th Avenue, legal being Lot 13 Block 15 Town of Dania. Commissioner Salvino seconded. There were five ayes. 12. Commissioner Kay made a motion to accept the policy based on the City Attorney's letter of July 3rd and .Mr. Farinats figures shown in his letter of June 29th and also the policy to add the engineer's fees on top of it all.
