Hampton City Attorney: Robert Dubow for Clarke Walden City Clerk: E. R.Clay Police Chief : Gustave Brugger Building Inspector: Hubert Walker • 4. Commissioner Kelly made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting of April 17, 1972. Commissioner Waiters seconded. There were five ayes. 5. Commissioner Waiters made a motion to approve the bills as paid ® for the month of April, 1972. Commissioner Salvino seconded. There were five ayes. 6. The Commission agreed that Mr. Nelson is responsible for placing a fence only where new houses are built. ® 7. Commissioner Kay made a motion to approve the plat for the Pavilion on its third and final reading and authorize the City Attorney to draw up the necessary paper work to complete it. Commissioner Salvino seconded. There were five ayes. 8. Commissioner Kay made a motion to pass on all three readings the • amendment (Sec. 16-28 of the Code) to the existing ordinance requiring land owners to mow their lots. Commissioner Waiters seconded. There were five ayes. 9. The third reading of the Sage Corporation's proposed shopping center was tabled until May 15th. • 10. Commissioner Kelly made a motion that the bids for modification and improvements to the Sewage Treatment Plant be awarded to the Tech Corporation. Commissioner Kay seconded. There were five ayes. 11. Commissioner Kay made a motion to connect Riverside Laundry to • our sewer system. Commissioner Waiters seconded. There were five ayes. 12. Thursday, May 11 at 7:00 P. M. was agreed upon by the Commission to meet with representatives from four planning firms. • 13. Commissioner Salvino made a motion to approve Florida Power and Light's request for a sub-station under the hi-lines north of the Dania Cut-Off Canal. Commissioner Waiters seconded. There were five ayes. 14. Commissioner Waiters made a motion to approve the resolution of intent that the City Attorney will draw up to acquire certain tracts of land for open space and park. Commissioner Kelly seconded. There were five ayes. 15. The City Attorney reported to the Commission that the court had ordered the City to reinstate Sergeant Edward Baxter with • all back pay since the date of dismissal.
