Motion made b Commissioner Waiters to a Y pprove minutes of August 16th Meeting and of August 30th Meeting. Motion was seconded by Commissioner ^. w Salvino. The vote to approve the minutes was unanimous. r.. i x•: ® 5. Attorney Regis R. Reasbeck, who represents Ex-Police Chief Baxter, asked ; for a Nearing. A motion was made for a Hearing by Commissioner Kay. This motion was seconded by Commissioner Kelly. The decision to have a rx Hearing wit}, Sworn Testimony was unanimous. The Hearing will be on Monday, September 13th, at 8:00 pm. • 6. Third Reading for Ordinance Louis Marrone Plat Plan. Commissioner Kelly made a motion to pass this on Third Reading. The motion was seconded by $x Commissioner Kay. The decision to pass this was unanimous. . .� 7. Second Reading - Ordinance rezoning to B-3 lands from Dania Cutoff Canal to North City Limits. Commissioner Kay made a motion to) pass this on e Second Reading. Commissioner Salvino seconded this motion. The decision to pass this was unanimous. S. Approval to have City Attorney draw up resolution to condemm building located at 320, N. Federal Highway, Dania. Commissioner Kay made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Salvino, which was later withdrawn. Joseph E. A Lewis Jr. appeared before the Commission and was told that the Resolution would be drawn up, but that if he made repairs and notified Mr. Walker, the Building Inspector and Mr. Hampton of these repairs before the next meeting, it would not be necessary for the Resolution to be passed condemming the building. 9. Transfer of license from Jack Fung to George Harvey, for the sale of alcoholic beverages at 242, East Dania Beach Boulevard. A motion to pass this on Two Readings was made by Commissioner Kay, and seconded by Commissioner Salvino. The decision to pass this was unanimous. 10. Notice of meeting Thursday, ; September 9th, at 10:00 am, with Mr. Neely ! of Municipal Code. There will be discussion of updating Ordinances. 11. The City Attorney, Mr. Walden will write up an Ordinance against littering, which will enable the administration to pay a $50.00 reward to a person who reports another for littering, upon conviction. This will be presented at the next meeting. O 12. Permission was requested to approve the Anton Agreement, and to issue the permit for the first 80 units. The Commission desires to see more about this in writing. The City Attorney and !;he City Manager will obtain more of the facts on this in writing. The Commission refused permission on this at this meeting. • 13. Federal monies for additional Police and Fire. The Commission gave authorization to take the necessary steps to receive this money, as distributed by the County to our City. The first phase is set up for one year and can be renewed for another year. A motion was made by Commissioner Kay to approve this authorization, this motion was seconded by Commissioner Waiters. Braswell, to Lee Deason, for the sale of alcholic beverages at 26, W. Dania Blvd, known as The Hi-Li Bar. Commission was requested to pass this on One Reading, however, Commissioner Salvino made a motion to pass this on Two Readings . This motion was seconded by Commissioner Waiters.
