CITY MANAGER'S REPORT
® 8. Alcee Hasting's Sewers. The City Manager said that there were about
four more points for discussion with the several cities that are
working with Hollywood on the regional plan for the treatment of
waste water and that in addition to that he has discussed with their
engineers the possibility that should we be fortunate to move forward
with our program for a sewer collection system on the Westside, and
if we were ready to send sewage into their system before they finish
the Taft line which is projected to be finished February, 1973, could
we then temporarily go into the Sheridan Street or one of these other
sections. Their engineers said they think it's feasible, but they want
to check the design and make sure they have the capacity in that line
or one of the adjacent lines and will let us know soon. He also
discussed with Mr. Hastings the type of commitment we could give him
without getting the City into a bind. An updated report will be
given to the Commission before the July 19th meeting.
9. Wrecker Service. Commissioner Salvino made a motion for the City
Attorney to draw up an agreement with Mac's Towing Service and Stuart's)
Garage for the towing service to the Police Department upon the City's
