Attorney Walden advised the Commission that the City had received
a resolution from the State Road Department conveying the right-of-
way for Dixie Highway from the City to the SRD in order for them to
build the road. It will be necessary for this resolution to be pass-
ed and adopted by the Commission. Several years ago the City start=
ed acquiring the right-of-way and all the deeds were made to the
City of Dania, this resolution simply deeds it to the SRD, and it
is proper to pass and adopt the resolution.
Commissioner Young asked if a date had been set for taking bids on
® the job?

project is included in the bid letting on October 27, 1966.

Attorney Walden advised the commission that the building inspector
asked him to bring before them for approval a building permit for
Mr. Glick. That there had been some controversy about the permit
when Mr. Glick wanted to move his business across the street merely
remodeling an old existing building. He has now agreed to remove
the old building and construct an entirely new building. He needs
® to get approval of the building plans as he understood his lease expires
on the present location very shortly. The building plans need to be ap-
proved before a permit is issued. The Zoning Board aprroved the plans
at their meeting last night. On the premise that this will help the
City and him by tearing down the old building, you might want to con-
sider this today in order to help him out of this situation
g Mayor Adams asked if the set-back for the building was in order?
Buil, ling Inspector Lindeman stated that the old building had the proper
set-back. That the new building is being set-back 36 feet from the
center-line of the street and the building is 18 X 30 of CBS construct-
ion.
