conducted periodic waterway cleanup campaigns; and

contributions of Dr. James Sistrunk, the first black medical doctor in

citizen awareness of the historical value within the Northwest
Community and offers the public an in-depth view of the cultural

heritage of the African-American Society and contributions of citizens
of African descent in the general population; and

exciting and colorful events in Broward County; and
