RESOLUTION 81
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A RAILROAD REIMBURSEMENT
AGREEMENT FOR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITY OF GRADE CROSSING PROTECTIVE
DEVICES WITHIN THE RIGHT OF WAY LIMITS HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, AND
PROVIDING WHEN THIS RESOLUTION SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
j ON MOTION OF Commissioner Kay, seconded by Commissioner Donly,
the following Resolution was adopted:
WHEREAS, The State of Florida Department of Transportation has
planned for the installation and maintenance of railroad grade crossing
protective devices adjacent to U.S. I and Northwest IOth Street in Dania,
Florida,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
That the City of Dania enter into a RAILROAD REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT
with the State of Florida Department of Transportation and the Florida East
Coast Railroad Company for the installation and maintenance of a certain
grade crossing protective devices designated as Job No. 86515-6901 on Northwest d t
IOth Street which crosses the right of way and tracks of the Company at a
point 93,) feet south from the Company's Mile Post 345, at or near Dania,

Florida; and
That the City agrees to participate in the cost of installation as

»• enumerated in Paragraph 14 and assume it's share in the cost of future main-
tenance and/or adjustment of said grade crossing protective devices for grade
I
crossings as designated in Paragraph 10 of the RAILROAD REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT: and,
That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to enter Tnio such
agreements with the State of Florida Department of Transporation and the
Florida East Coast Railroad Company a: herein described; and,
That this RESOLUTION shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Dania,
Florida, in regular session, This 3rd day of PIarch, 1975.
